Diana Saillant, a CCHI Certified Healthcare Interpreter™, is the visionary leader behind Saillant Language Consulting. Since its inception in 2009, Diana has steered the company towards a singular mission: connecting organizations with the Limited English Proficient (LEP) population and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

A Passion for Communication:

Diana’s dedication to bridging communication gaps extends far beyond business. Holding a Bachelor of Management Arts and an MBA from Charleston Southern University, she leverages her academic background to champion cultural awareness within the Charleston community, her adopted home for over 20 years.

Fueling Growth and Careers:

Diana’s expertise extends to curriculum development. She actively develops new training programs, including the nationwide Healthcare Interpreter course, offered online and in-person. This program equips bilingual individuals with the skills and knowledge to pursue rewarding careers in medical interpretation.

Diana embodies the company’s core values of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to excellence. Her passion for language and community building inspires both clients and students she works with.

Biography

Diana founded the Hispanic Business Association, a beacon for Hispanic entrepreneurs, offering guidance and support from start-up to growth phases.

Diana's impact echoes through the halls of academia and government too. She has been a key figure at the College of Charleston’s Hispanic Studies Advisory Board and lends her wisdom to the South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs.

In the heart of the community, Diana is a true champion. From Trident United Way to TEDx Charleston, she has been everywhere, advocating for inclusive growth and diversity. Her voice made a difference for three years at the MUSC Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council and shone for seven years with the YWCA Greater Charleston.
